How much will I be spending?

Buying a holiday home caravan from Thornley Leisure Parks:

The most important step to buying a holiday home caravan is finding the right park. There are eight Thornley Leisure Parks to choose from in North Wales, Cheshire and North Yorkshire, each with its own unique character offering, we believe ,’Something special for everyone’. Do you have any information you can send me?

How Long Is Your Season?

The parks are open from 1st March to 30th November. Apart from Lakeside and Gallaber which is open from 1st March – 16th January. Green Pastures is open from March 1st - 5th January/ (Please kindly note: Our parks cannot be used as a place of permanent residency.)

We have a range of luxury caravans to suit most budgets and competitive finance options are available.

What are the Annual running costs?

Like owning a car or a home, there are running costs! We charge you separately for pitch fees, water, electricity, gas and insurance.

What models of caravan holiday home do you supply?

We can supply all leading manufacturers of holiday homes including, Willerby, Carnaby, ABI, BK Bluebird, Atlas, Cambrian, Swift and Pemberton. To see a list of the Holiday Homes we currently have in stock please visit our Caravan Sales page.

Do I own the land?

No, you don’t own the land. You are buying a luxury caravan Holiday Home with the right to occupy a pitch of your choice for as long as you like, providing you pay the annual site fees and abide by the Parks rules.

Can I choose the location of my Holiday Home?

Yes, subject to availability and suitability, you can choose any vacant plot you like.

Can I have decking installed on my caravan?

We have opted to work exclusively with AB Sundecks, who are one of the market leaders, the quality of their products and service are second to none.

What happens when my caravan gets to the end of it’s life?

When your caravan gets to 20 years old (15 years old on Green Pastures) you will be able to choose to sell your caravan off the park or ask us to help you find a suitable replacement.

Can my friends and family visit me?

Yes of course, providing they abide to the park rules.

Are you pet friendly?

Yes, all of our Parks North Wales, Cheshire and North Yorkshire are pet friendly.

Can I sub-let my caravan?

Yes you may sub-let your caravan on all our parks apart from Maenan & Green Pastures. All owners who do choose to sub-let their holiday homes are obliged to obtain an annual gas landlords certificate (which we can arrange) and a copy of this must be held by us.

Is a caravan a good investment?

Buying a holiday home with Thornley Leisure Parks is an investment in freedom, escaping to the park whenever and as often as you like. You can Relax as hard as you like in North Wales and Cheshire!

Do you accept Tents & Tourers

We have facilities for Tents and Tourers on our Dinlle Caravan Park in Caernarfon and Gallaber, North Yorkshire.
