There are so many places to visit in Cheshire, Lakeside Caravan Park offers the perfect base to start exploring.

For a day of activity that everyone can enjoy, Delamere Forest is one the very best days out in Cheshire. This woodland is home to beautiful trails, diverse ecology and natural landscape. There are hiking and bike trails, but for the even more adventurous, there’s Go Ape for an action-packed day of high ropes, Segway and junior courses. If you keep an eye out, you can even enjoy concerts from some of the most famous artists in this astonishing setting.

A short drive away from Lakeside Caravan Prak is the historic walled city of Chester. Where you can learn about its Roman origins, cathedral, the famous medieval ‘Rows’ before sitting beside the peaceful river Dee by the Victorian suspension bridge. There’s also wonderful Wirral with its rich history and abundant landscape, and Liverpool for its music, culture and more.

For animal lovers and an incredible family day out in Cheshire, Chester Zoo is a must-visit attraction. This world-famous zoo is the most-visited attraction outside London and named the best zoo in the UK with over 9,000 animals and more than 700 species. Always growing, this zoo will provide a day to remember. Not far away, and for creatures from the deep, is the Blue Planet Aquarium in Ellesmere Port. Here, you can see sharks, rays, various fish, rainforest creatures and so much more.

For a day with nature and beauty, Tatton Park is a fantastic place to visit and offers lots of things to do with kids in this historic estate with the 18th-century hall. A National Trust site, there are 50 acres of various landscaped gardens to stroll around, the neo-classical mansion and its Italian garden as well as the wildlife such as deer and the working farm. The Park also has on-site speciality shops selling local gifts, picnic sites galore and activity zones for kids. A fantastic day out for all.

For a day out shopping visit Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet village where you will find an array of shops, restaurants and bars. If you have a sweet tooth you must visit Haute Dolci – the pudding only restaurant.
