Thornley Leisure Parks Take on the Dragon Boat Challenge for St David’s Hospice
This year, the Thornley Leisure Parks team are stepping out of the office or parks and onto the water to take part in the Dragon Boat Race in support of St David’s Hospice.
A Race with Purpose
The Dragon Boat Race is a high-energy, adrenaline-fuelled challenge where teams paddle side-by-side in striking dragon boats, racing across open water in a test of teamwork, rhythm, and determination! Crews of up to 10 paddlers work in perfect sync, powering their way over sprint distances across Llan Padarn.
Every stroke taken by the Thornley team is helping to raise vital funds for a charity that provides compassionate, specialist care to people facing life-limiting illnesses and supports their families when they need it most

St David’s Hospice delivers essential care across North Wales, supporting over a thousand people each year with physical, emotional, and spiritual care to those who need it.
