1. Zip World Llechwedd Magical Underground Grotto

Zipmas is back this 2022, and is bigger and better than ever! This magical festive experience is North Wales’ ultimate Christmas Grotto adventure like no other. Venture 500ft underground to their historical caverns to meet Santa in the grotto, before heading over to the world’s first adventure golf in a cave as part of our ‘Grotto Golf’ package if you fancy a putt or two.

Grab your complimentary mince pie and hot chocolate or mulled wine, and enjoy the beautiful sites and incredible festive atmosphere of Llechwedd at Christmas, before delving 500ft underground on our cable railway to the Victorian slate mines, where Santa, his team of elves and the incredible magical grotto wait for you below.

2. Greenwood Family Park‘s Enchanted Forest

This year it’s all about a night time adventure in the forest. Stroll through the illuminated forest and magical world of glistening trees. Follow the path to Santa’s cosy cottage to meet the man himself. Spend as long as you like in their Woodbarn Lodge after the event.

3. Breakfast with Santa and Afternoon Tea with Elsa at Anglesey Sea Zoo Christmas Markets 2022

Head over to Anglesey Sea Zoo for more festivities this Winter! This year they have a Santa’s Grotta, Breakfast with Santa, Afternoon Tea with Elsa and shop small businesses local at their festive market.

3rd 4th 10th 11th 17th 18th December | 10:00am – 5pm

Santa’s grotto 11:30am – 13:30pm – drop in £6 per child (includes gift)
Market open days are December 3rd and 4th, 10th and 11th & 17th and 18th from 10am to 5pm

4. Christmas outdoor fun at RSPB Conwy Nature Reserve

At RSPB Conwy they are running a robin trail for all of the family to enjoy! The Robin trail starts on 28th November and runs until the 8th of January. Find all the clues and learn to sing like a robin. Activity packs are £3. No booking necessary.

Join the Santa Hunt on December 11th. There are eight time slots to choose from between 10am-3pm. Each slot is for 30 minutes. Children will spend between 10-15 minutes with Santa. A small gift is also included for every child (aimed at 3-8 year olds).

Christmas Campfires: ‘Robin Robin’ Storytelling on December 18th. Three time slots available 11am, 1pm or 3pm. Booking required. Members £5.50, non-members £7.50.

 

5. Welsh Mountain Zoo are offering half price tickets and lots of elf fun

Taste the magic of Christmas with a 45 minute interactive session for children with their Christmas Elves. Session includes reindeer/snowman topped pancakes (VG) with a soft drink, a small gift, a short storytelling session from our elves and lots of sELFie opportunities (£9.95)

Elfyn has dropped 10 presents around the zoo. You’ll need to solve the clues to help him locate all of his lost presents. You could be in with a chance of winning an amazing bag of Welsh Mountain Zoo goodies! The trail will be given on arrival at the entrance gate. (free activity)
