When you’re ready to sit back and relax with a drink and bite to eat – head to The Foresters Arms. This dog friendly pub has a lively atmosphere, where guests & locals love to enjoy a bit of banter and catch up on the day’s adventures.

Fun fact: Grassington was transformed into the fictional village of Darrowby for Channel 5’s series ‘All Creatures Great and Small’.

The Bull, Broughton Dog Friendly Pubs in North Yorkshire

The Bull – Broughton

15min drive from Gallaber Park

Discover the fascinating history of Broughton Hall and the Tempest Family at The Bull in Broughton. This cosy pub sits within the Broughton Hall Estate – 3000 acres of land in North Yorkshire that has been nurtured by thirty-three generations of the Tempest family.

Explore the estate with your four-legged friend on the circular walk which starts and finishes at The Bull. Take in countryside views, find the estate’s standing stones, and work up an appetite ready for a tasty traditional pub meal! Countless films and TV shows have been filmed on the estate, including the 1996 classic Wuthering Heights, starring Ralph Fiennes.

Canal Walk Keighley Skipton

The Bay Horse – Keighley

20min drive from Gallaber Park

The Bay Horse is a historic canal side pub that dates all the way back to 1822. Workers from the local weaving mills would relax in this cosy country pub at the end of a hard day’s work. Sitting right beside the canal, The Bay Horse is a great place to stop off for a drink after walkies along the towpath. If you fancy a longer walk, you can follow the canal all the way from Bradley to Skipton.

They have a well-stocked bar with cask ales, a wide selection of gins which can be enjoyed in the gardens or beside the fire, depending on the weather! A true dog friendly pub, there’s always dog treats and water on hand for your pup, and they even sell doggy beer! The pawfect way for your pooch to refresh after a long walk!

The New Inn, Clapham, Dog Friendly Pubs in North Yorkshire

The New Inn – Clapham

20min drive from Gallaber Park

The New Inn is a great spot to enjoy some real Yorkshire hospitality and is a welcome retreat after a hike up to the famous peak of Ingleborough. Located in the ‘Three Peaks’ village of Clapham, The New Inn is a popular dog friendly pub for visitors who come from far and wide to explore the magnificent landscape of the Yorkshire Dales.

There are countless walking trails to discover nearby, so whether you’re a seasoned hillwalker or a casual dog walker, there’s a trail to suit your needs. Our favourite is the Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail, which leads from the old sawmill, past the lake, and through beautiful woodlands, before opening up to views of the famous limestone pavements and summit of Ingleborough.
