We have so many different characters across our 10 Holiday Parks across Wales, Cheshire & Yorkshire, all of who have a wealth of knowledge and experience, not only about the Parks they work on, but also about the surrounding local areas.

Our newest park, Morfa Lodge Holiday Park in North Wales, is a hidden gem on the Llyn Peninsula stretch of coastline. With breathtaking views of Y Foryd Nature Reserve and sitting at the foothills of Snowdonia, AND just a short walk from the white sandy beach of Dinas Dinlle, Morfa Lodge has everything to offer for a retreat from the rigors of modern life.

This month we thought we would introduce Josh, our new Sales Executive at Morfa Lodge & Dinlle, and get an insight into what makes him tick..

How long have you worked for Thornley Leisure Parks? Just three weeks!

What excites you the most about your new role? No two days are the same! I’m lucky enough not to be stuck in an office – I love getting out and about on park and meeting new people.

Where can you most likely be found on park? Around plot Q19 – it has the most amazing views on park of the estray, wild bird reserve and the Snowdonia mountain range.

Which is your favourite lodge or caravan, and why? I don’t have a favourite! They are all great for different reasons, whether you’re looking for something to suit the whole family, are looking for fabulous views or a luxury home from home, we can find a great holiday home for you.

If I could recommend one must see/do activity for the local area it would be Bounce below. It’s not far from the park, I went a few years ago with friends and it was brilliant. It’s a great activity for the whole family! Plus, as an owner with Thornley Leisure Parks you get 10% off!

My advice to people looking to own holiday home would be? Choose your holiday park first – does it feel like the right park for you? Caravans are easier to find than holiday parks! We can find you the perfect holiday home once you have decided on the park.

What are your best tips for the surrounding area? Make sure you check out our owners local discounts – you’ll be very surprised by how much you can save!

Any parting words? I’m very exited to be a part of the Thornley Leisure team! Having met some of the owners across both of our Caernarfon parks already, I already feel at home.
